Training on agricultural business administration for women


The Eritrean Women Agribusiness Association, in cooperation with the National Confederation of Eritrean Workers, organized a training from September 20 to October 31 for over 40 women focusing on business administration and starting an agricultural business.

According to Mrs. Senait Tesfaldet, president of the association, the objective of the training was to enable women who want to get involved in the company to have basic knowledge and those who are already in the company to develop their abilities more.

Mrs. Senait also called on the trainees to apply the training they received in the development of their activities and expressed the availability of the association to accompany them in all their steps.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Arefaine Berhe, Minister of Agriculture, declared that the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with the partners will continue to encourage the participation of women in agricultural activities and expressed the availability of the ministry to accompany them in all their agricultural activities.

The Eritrean Women Agribusiness Association was established in 2003 and includes women engaged in agricultural enterprises.
