Fitzgibbon Selected as Outstanding Bay Business Graduate

Each year, Bay College selects one outstanding graduate from each of the College’s six divisions. The graduate is selected by its instructors for academic excellence, leadership, and community service.

Shiloh Fitzgibbon was selected as the Outstanding Graduate of 2022 for the Business Division, with the award sponsored by Schneider, Larche, Haapala & Company, the Bay College Faculty Association, and the Bay College Foundation.

A resident of Munising, Shiloh began her studies at Northern Michigan University in 1997/1998 as part of the Medical Office Program. Taking advantage of Michigan State’s Futures for Frontliners program in 2021, Shiloh enrolled at Bay College as a non-traditional student.

In May 2022, Shiloh graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Office Information Systems/Administrative Assistant from Bay College. Joyce King, an instructor at Bay College, said: “Shiloh was an excellent student and I really enjoyed having her in my online classes. She was always prepared, submitted quality work and had a great sense of humor. She is well deserving of receiving the Outstanding Graduate for the Business Division award.

Shiloh works at Tractor Supply in Wetmore, MI as a Crew Leader. Shiloh said, “With the knowledge I gained from my courses at Bay College, I am in a better position to one day become an assistant manager at Tractor Supply if the future allows me that opportunity.”
