Fitbox launches the fitbox Business Academy to provide targeted business training

Fitbox is partnering with the Government of Queensland’s Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport to launch the fitbox Business Academy – a free program designed to build the capacity of working businesses by leveraging knowledge, innovation and technology to meet the current challenges facing the fitness industry. .

The program is part of the ActiveKIT funding program – a new initiative spun off from the Activate! Queensland 2019 – 2029 Strategy – providing $4.34 million in targeted funding to support active industry and its businesses in Queensland. The ActiveKIT initiative is a call to action to ‘change the dial’ on investing in the active industry sector to boost participation in physical activity in Queensland.

As a partner of the ActiveKIT program, fitbox will organize the fitbox Business Academy – a series of free workshops for businesses operating in major regions and metropolitan areas. The workshops will provide targeted business training, tailored to each of the workshop participants. The workshops will equip business owners with the skills to address today’s challenges and opportunities in areas such as building a more sustainable business, member retention and engagement, expense management, online opportunities and digital and increased costs due to the impact of COVID-19.

The fitbox ecosystem is designed to support and grow businesses in the fitness industry, whether they are CrossFit affiliates, functional fitness centers, boxing gyms, yoga studios, or those running businesses. personal training. The fitbox Business Academy is suitable for all fitness businesses and offers the opportunity to offer a boutique business solution to participants.

To showcase these free workshops, fitbox will be hosting a series of events at select locations across Queensland. Leading fitness business owners in each field will have access to experts in all aspects of health and fitness – business, technology and more – and will provide owners, managers and trainers with the opportunity to network and to exchange ideas.
